I mean they say that sony made the wrong move by including blueray player on the ps3, but the reason that sony is winning this format war is because of the ps3. I mean if blueray continues to out sell hd-dvd through out this holiday season, then i all the movie developers are going to go bluray exclusive and sony would then have won this format war. And now that the ps3 is at 400 bucks, i dont see hd-dvd staying in this war for a long time.
ofcourse they dont want sony to take win the format war. if they do win then Sony will have the upper hand.

ofcoure sony is not dropping the price of blueray. why would they need to? the ps3 is why blueray will win this format. Everyone that buys a ps3 is a blueray supporter already. if the ps3 sell very well then sony already has won this format war.
You see people. The ps3 different architecture was holding developers back, that the only reasn some multiplatform games was not lloking as good as their 360 counterparts. But now i see company like midway saying that we learned how to develop for the ps3, and it make me happy.

I dont think the japanese are biased, because if you think about it why is the i pod sell so good over there, and jordans the sneaker from nike sell very well over there also. So they arent biased to american products.

it desnt matter how much they drop the price of the hd-dvd player. Blueray has alot of big supporters like disney. And as long as people buy the ps3, they are blureay supporter by default. toshiba is trying to go for one more strechh before declaring hd-dvd dead.
it will only get worst for microsoft once the price drop for the ps3. once the 40gb is introduce in japan, the 360 is dead there.
microsoft would have been well ahead of the competition if the japanese market would buy there product, the only thing holding the 360 back is the japanese market. Is not even worht arguing about who has the better version, because both version suck 6/10 and 7/10 are not good scores. i wouldnt even buy the 360 version because it still scored bad.
So all multiplatform games run better on the 360. So how about 2k8 and call of duty, graw2 and oblivion does game run about the same or even better on the ps3. So what you have to say about that.
